- Right Documentation: Record the time, dose, route, and any relevant information in the care record.
- Right to Refuse: Respect the patient’s decision if they choose to refuse, after a thorough discussion about risks and benefits.
- Right Education: Provide clear and concise information about the medication being taken.
- Right Reason: Confirm the rationale for the medication. What is the patient’s history? Why are the taking the medication?
